Accomplished and Achievement –Driven Recent Honors College Graduate and current 4.0 Graduate student interested in working in the Public sector of Education and Library Studies. I want to provide children with an intrinsic motivation to read.  I am also interested in working for educational advocacy to ensure that children of all races, gender, and socio-economic status have access to literature.

Professional Experience
Assisted a 7th grade Language Arts teacher at Spring Ridge Middle School in an inclusion classroom.
Substituted in St. Mary’s County Schools at: Chesapeake Charter School, Great Mills High School Hollywood Elementary, Leonardtown Elementary & Leonardtown High School.
Interned at the Lexington Park Public Library on their Friday Morning “StoryTime” for young children and their parents.
Formulated and wrote my own lesson plans, differentiated for various levels and types of learners.
Worked extensively with Pre-K, Elementary and Secondary students on hands-on activities as well as teaching them core principles.
Ability to multi-task with customer orders, office paperwork and various clerical duties in a timely manner.
